What Is 7 Step ADAS ?

The 7 Step ADAS Calibration Method is a streamlined approach designed to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of calibrating Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in vehicles. Utilizing a combination of simple yet precise tools, this method ensures that vehicle calibration is both straightforward and effective, suitable for a wide range of vehicles and ADAS features.

Key Components of the 7 Step Method:

  • Baseline Box Setup: Using basic lasers and targets, we create a baseline box around the vehicle. This box serves as the foundational guideline for all subsequent calibrations, ensuring every adjustment is made with reference to a precisely defined area.
  • Tight Line Alignment: The baseline box provides a series of very tight lines that are crucial for accurate target placement. This precision is vital for the proper functioning of ADAS features such as lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, and collision avoidance.
  • Lightweight Tools: Instead of heavy, cumbersome equipment, our method uses lightweight tools including lasers, square rulers, and plumb bobs. These tools are easy to handle and transport, facilitating quick setup and breakdown.
